At the core of our value chain is the construction project.

Upstream, raw materials are extracted and processed: minerals, metals and bio-based materials such as hemp and timber. Components including precast elements, energy storage systems, solar panels are sourced from third-party suppliers.

Some upstream activities overlap with our own operations: for example, precast concrete is produced internally at C-Concrete yet also procured externally by our contracting entities. Hempwool insulation is manufactured in-house as another internally produced product.

Our core operations consists of manufacturing, engineering and on-site project execution.

Downstream, the value chain extends to the use phase of buildings, including occupant energy consumption and ultimately to end-of-life.

We serve a wide range of customer groups across our divisions: private developers (C-Construct, C-Living), public clients including government bodies (C-Construct, C-Tech, C-Energy), commercial and corporate clients (C-Construct, C-Tech, C-Energy), industrial clients (C-Construct, C-Tech, C-Energy), residential end-users (C-Living, C-Energy), housing associations (C-Construct, C-Energy), healthcare and education institutions (C-Construct, C-Tech, C-Energy), sports and leisure operators (C-Living/VITA Groep, C-Construct), and other construction companies and contractors who purchase manufactured building components from C-production.

Our products and services contribute to our sustainability-related objectives: C-energy’s energy technologies and C-innovation’s low-carbon products directly support our ambition to accelerate the transition to sustainable construction. C-production’s in-house manufacturing of prefabricated elements enables resource-efficient, waste-reducing building methods across the group.

No significant changes in our product or service offering, markets or customer groups occurred during the reporting period.
